Hi guys lets know about our immune system

    “ Health is wealth” is an apt proverb. There can be no welth greater than the good health that a person enjoys. In a healthy state, A person kerps himself physically, mentally and socially, fit. Our body has a complex defense mechanish to keept itself fit and work against various agents which distrub , we develop resistance towards diseases and gain immunity.

Health and its significant:

     “health id a state of physical, mental social well_being of an individual and not merely absense of a disease of infirmition.   When a person is in good heaslth, the different organ systems, not only function well in discharging their duties, but the body as whole is also able to adjust itself and strike a balance with the physical. Mental and social environments.

Dimension of health:

    1.physical dimension

    3. Social dimension

Physical dimension:A person who is free fron disease looks brite with his skin shining enjoya normal metabolism has lustours haur and has no dark circle around his eyes

Mental dimension:Mentally healthy people know their capacities and do not overestimate or underestimate thenselves. They can easily judge their dhortcoming and weakness

Social dimension :An individual who is able to adjust un society does not find fault with other. Such a persons maintain good interpersonal relationships. With family members and collegues at workshop. He is free from interpersonal conflicts and will never quarrel with others.

Diseases and causes

       The word disease meand without ease or not at easy and is the opposite of health. The condition of multifunctoning of the organ systems is called disease. There are nemerous diseeases that affect our health

A healthy body maintains a constant nlood sugal level, which is normally 80-120 mg/dl of blood under fasting conditions. When a large quantities of glucose enter the blood system streme, as its happen after a meal , the excess glucose is converted into insoluble glycogen and is stored in liver and muscles for future use. Later when required glycogen is reconverted in to glucose and reintroduced into blood system

    All these processess are controlled by the hprmines insulin and glucagon secreated by beta cells and alpha cells pf islets of legerhans in the pancreas

      This leads to other compliecations and results in dia ities milletus is a sta te of expulsion of excess unused glucose in the urine due to less production of insulin
