“They always say that failure should not be an option. Failure itself should be an option 'caz when u fail....u get up, and then u fail, and then u get up, and that keeps you going. That's how humans are strong”
“Life is a trial….. It's okay to be scared, it's okay to cry……but giving up should not be an option”
“They call it adversity, I call it opportunity. They call it weakness, I call it strength. They call me disabled, I call myself Differently Abled. THEY SEE MY DISABILITY, I SEE MY ABILITY.”
Yaap....These are the wise words from a woman who is recently known as Pakistan's iron lady - Muniba Mazari. A woman who was married in her 18 th year, got into a car accident 2yrs later and got seriously fractured and was paralysed on her lower body for the rest of her life, been bedridden for 2 years, 2 and a half months, later when recovered, celebrated her rebirth on the day she sat on a wheelchair, overcame her fears of being a divorcee and being childless ('caz of her injuries), also the fear of facing people and gradually as the time goes slowly accepting her fate and empowered herself, also became an inspiration to the whole mankind who selfishly says that "I am so unlucky"(just because their wants/wishes never came in their way).
“It is hard when I say that I cannot walk, it is hard to say when I wear this bag, IT HURTS. But, I have to keep going..…'caz never giving up is the way to live... Always!”
The very one and only woman who made herself a hero, at the same time influenced by those 3 infamous people, but not the very least, in her life:
The smart boy, Waleed Khan, who was the hero of the terrorist attack in an army public school of Peshawar, who wear his scars of the attack as medals with pride and a memoir of the incident, taught her to be positive even when u r completely broken on the outside. Her adopted son, Nile made her realize that 'when your glass is half-empty, your glass is half-full also'. Last but not the least, her mother, who believed in her when no one else did, the woman who was always there by her side and said: "This to shall pass....God has a bigger plan for you... I don't know what it is, but he surely has".
Now, Muniba is Pskistan's first wheelchair-bound artist, a model, a motivational speaker, anchor in the national tv of Pakistan. She is also the National goodwill Ambassador for UN Women Pakistan, after being shortlisted in the 100 inspirational women of 2018 by BBC.
