This has always been a debate, hasn't it? If beaches are better or mountains are. Personally, I can't choose just like that, both make me feel extremely happy and initially it was hard to choose among them. But just like always we do come to a conclusion that does suit us.
Let's dive into the memories of mountains and beaches ,shall we?
If you have read my previous blogs, you would know that once I used to live in Almora. THE BEAUTIFUL CITY. Honestly, it's my favorite city. Surrounded by mountains, beautifully cold weather. Also, it would be an injustice if I don't mention the lovely people around there. That was the place where I learned to actually live my life in full vim and zest.
If you go to any hilly area, you need to plan properly and choose the winter time, now if you ask me why? I would say that the hot chocolate in the mornings are totally worth it.
The culture, the spirituality, the view, the warmth of the people around you, even though they are strangers, is worth it!
I was really young back then in Almora, I remember papa always used to plan Sunday picnics, those didn't use to be all extraordinary or anything, just some jim jam biscuits, sandwiches, sometime cream rolls. Although they were not extraordinary but it did leave a huge impact on me. It has been 13 long years, and I still keep those memories deep within me somewhere safe, away from all the miseries of life now.
If you go to the mountains, it has to have a deep impact on you. You might end up leaving a part of your heart there. Mountains might sometimes disconnect you to make you reconnect better in the next part. Some people believe that you need to be adventurous to fall in love with mountains, which is an utter lie. You just need to okay to open up your heart and let the mountain steal your heart away.
I haven't been to the mountains for a long long time, but I can't deny that I miss mountains a lot! Though the mountains and I are long long distances apart, but that's the kind of long distance relationship I am okay with.
Beaches on the other hand are close to my heart too. But you just read almost the entire blog and already know that I love mountains more.
As for the beach stories, that's for some other time.
Tell me your memories of beaches and mountains in the comment section below and let's connect with each other. Lots of love to you for reading
