Hello all!!! Hope my fellow bloggers were doing good and great. Myself as a  DIETICIAN I'm facing lot of common cold and sneezing, coughing now a days. So thought of sharing some helpful tips. This is my new blog help you all to overcome this winter season without infections.

Here are some food items that will improve your immune power. 

EGGS : Eggs having number of health benefits and it will help you to get good amount of protein and power packed with essential nutrients. Eggs are rich source in calcium, vitamin D, and selenium which prevents formation of free radicals this improve immunity.

ALMONDS : Almonds are rich in fibre that helps you to relieve from constipation and made of essential amino acids like riboflavin, c- carnitine which stimulates and develop brain function. Soaked Almonds are preferred. 

CARROTS : Carrots are good source of vitamin A which is responsible for proper eye functioning and support many organs to maintain overall well being. Carotenoids present in carrots helps in many metabolism of our body.

TURMERIC : A real medicine for many allergic and inflammatory issues. Helps you to releive from chest congestion, cold and cough. Also have antioxidants int this will improve immunity. But does not exceed the daily limit. If exceeds it will pave a way to stomach issues.

CHICKEN : A good source of protein helps in gaining weight and chicken soups are ideal for improving immunity. Avoid deep roasting it will make you fat. But it's ideal for people with underweight.

 

GINGER :  Ginger contains gingerol, a biochemical active compound that helps to improve Immunity also have anti microbial and anti fungal properties. This helps you to detoxify your body.

Some tips to Gain Immunity : 

  • Sleep : sleep plays important role in maintaining proper health and well being. Adequate sleep will protect you from various infections and disease. Average 6- 8 hrs sleep is mandatory for proper functioning of human beings.
  • Quit smoking and alcohol : Smoking and Alcohol will be working antagonist to immunity. And it deplete overall wellness of a person. So, limit smoking and drinking alcohol. 
  • Nutritious food : Eating healthy food from all five food groups will increase your immunity. Includes more green leafy vegetables and fruits in diet. And avoid drinking fruit juices and carbonated beverages.
  • Physical activity : Atleast spent 30 mins per day to do any kind of physical activity such as walking, jogging, swimming, cycling etc..,
