Did you ever feel like you woke up and not being able to move a bit? Like you got paralyzed and unable to move even your finger and can't speak a word for a while. It happens due to stress, anxiety, or depression. It's a sleeping disorder and named sleep paralysis by researchers. And researchers say almost everyone experiences sleep paralysis at least once in their life. It is a very terrifying experience. Today I'm going to share my experience of sleep paralysis. When It happened for the first time, I was in my high school. I remember on that day I was very tired and just wanted to sleep. It was almost noon when I went to bed. After a good sleep of half an hour suddenly I woke up. And felt like I am stuck to the bed. I was trying to getting up and thought I succeeded but after a second I found myself in the same position from where I started. My eyes were open and I could see everything but I was unable to move my body. I was so scared and tried to scream but it felt like I have no voice. Suddenly I started to feel that my feet were becoming cold, like they were getting freezed. I was crying in my mind watching my wall clock ticking. I started praying to God. I felt like, I was no more and this was the last day of my life. Suddenly someone came to the door and knocked. After his/her many tries and some loud voices suddenly my mind was able to control my body and its muscle again. And I got up from the bed and I was feeling very light and amazing like I got a second life. When I went to the door there was no one, the person who knocked went from there after so many tries. I'm thankful to him/her. And from then I started to experience this terrifying dream so often. I consulted my family doctor and he advised me to stay calm and keep stress at bay. He told that I can treat this sleeping disorder by myself by cutting off my tensions and stress and by staying calm, taking proper sleep and a healthy diet. This incident happened 2 years ago. And now I'm still working on my mental stress but I usually experience sleep paralysis at least once in six months or less.

Hope you guys got some knowledge through this article, so please like it and share it with others. And if you experienced sleep paralysis ever in your life then let me know in the comment section. I will meet you in the next blog till then bye and take care.

Thank you.
