Today we are living in a world where everyone is being selfish day by day. If we look back into the time, things were different from now, people were well known to their neighbors and not only well known they had good relations with each other and they stood with each other in every up and downs. But with the betterment of technology, we started losing our moral values. In the present era, we don't even know who is living after three-four houses from us. We are busy in our lives and we love our privacy but we are lacking in love and peace. That's not only the story of society but we can see these changes in our families. In the nineties, people were living in joint families but now we love to live alone or we can say in nuclear families. And with time children started to love living separately from their parents. In the present era, we see children love to spend time with smartphones and computers rather than their parents and loved ones they love to play virtual games it helps their mind to be more active but children nowadays are not physically active as compared to the children in the early nineties. It's bitter to swallow but it is the truth. We need to bring change in our society, we need to bring back our moral values.

Now the question is "what should we do?"

• We need to cut off the time we spend with our smartphones and computers and we should spend that time with our loved ones.

• Parents should spend at least two to three hours with their children and teach them how to live selflessly.

• Children should play physical games too and cutoff time from smartphones and computers. And should spend time with real people instead of video game characters.

•We should make people aware of these detrimental effects of technology upon us. And try to spend more time with other people.

• In this current situation of covid-19 we cannot be selfish or we cannot think only for ourselves. Try to live selflessly and help others in this bad time.

• All members of the family should spend some time together praying for the current situation of the world and spend time in the presence of God. I heard somewhere that "With the increase in population people are becoming more lonely day by day." If we don't do anything then things will get more worst by the time. And one day we will be left with nothing to do with our situation. The time is now.
