Raw bananas belong to the genus Musa which belong both bananas and plantains. Raw bananas are rich in fibre which aim in digestion. Light on stomach and full of nutritional benifits. So, now lets see the recipe.
Ingredientes:
● 3 raw bananas
● 1 big diced cut onion
● 1 big roughly chopped tomato
● 2 dry chilli
● 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
● 10-12 garlic cloves
● 5-6 black peppers whole
● 1 teaspoon coriander whole
● One and half teaspoon fenugreek seed and cumin seed
● One-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder
● One-fourth teaspoon red chilli powder
● Salt (according to your taste)
● Mustard oil (for cooking and frying raw banana)
● Some fresh coriander leaves (for garnishing)
Instructios:
2. Cut them into two half parts and then half part into three parts.
3. Put 2 red dry chilli, 2 teaspoon yellow mustard seeds, 10-12 garlic cloves and some water in mixer grinder.
4. Make a thick paste and put them in bowl.
5. Put two teaspoon of this paste on peeled and chopped bananas.
6. Add pinch of turmeric powder, pinch of red chilli powder and one-fourth teaspoon salt to it.
7. Mix them well so that banana is fully coated with the paste.
8. Take a frying pan on high flame. Add enough of mustard oil in it for frying bananas.
9. When the oil is hot, put the banana coated with paste separately in the pan.
10. Deep fry the banana till it turns into golden colour and then take it out from the pan.
11. Put 5-6 black pepper whole, 1 teaspoon coriander whole and 1 big diced cut onion with some water in mixer grinder.
12. Make a thick paste. Put them out in a bowl.
13. Add 1-2 teaspoon of mustard oil. (if oil is left in the frying pan you can use it for further process)
14.When oil is hot, add one and half teaspoon of fenugreek seed and cumin seed.
15. Now add rest of the mustard seed paste (mentioned above) and stir it for 3-4 min on medium flame.
16. Add onion paste in it. Stir it on medium flame for 3-4 min.
17. Then add three-fourth teaspoon of turmeric powder, red chilli powder and one teaspoon salt. Cook it for 5 min.
18. Add roughly chopped tomato at let it be soft.
Don't cover the pan and cook the curry till oil start separating from mixture.
19. Add 1 glass of water to make curry and cook it till water start boiling.
20. Add fried bananas to curry. Mix it gently and cover the pan for 5 min on low flame.
21. Raw banana curry is ready. Sprinkle fresh chopped coriander leaves on banana curry.
Serve it with rice or chapati and enjoy with your family.
