Once upon a time, in a kingdom there lived a prince named Prince Peerless who was born with a horn in his head. He was loved and respected for his kind compassionate just nature. His father a horrible ruler did not like this, and he made an excuse of his looks. One day as he was sitting in his throne, he asked the queen, "Who would ever marry this horned son of mine? How unfortunate to have him? But the queen replied, "Do not say that. He is our son, and he is noble and able. The king replied that he is a disgrace! At that moment one of his attendants walked into him and talked about a princess who lives not so far of land and would be just right for the prince as she was also born with a horn. He showed the king and queen the portrait of the princess named Sunbeam.
Princess Sunbeam was one of the bravest, noblest princes that ever was. The king immediately told the attendant to send a note regarding the matrimony of Prince Peerless and Princess Sunbeam. But Prince Peerless who overheard the conversation prevented his dad from the proposal stating that he would marry the person he loves and not more than that. This made the king furious, and he locked the prince in a tower like prison which was not used for the past 200 years all alone as punishment. However, the guards liked him and looked after him really well. The guards never locked him, and he was allowed to walk anywhere inside the tower although he wasn't allowed to go out. They provided him with all he wanted - his favorite foods, clothes etc. The prince would spend hours in the libraries and galleries admiring the books and beautiful pieces of art works. He often used to think that the tower looked so beautiful with all the beautiful works.
One day as he was walking through the gallery, he noticed that one of the galleries were moving. When he went closer, he saw a moving image just like him but without the horn. The prince was shocked. At first the prince thought that his mind was playing tricks with him, so he rushed out of the gallery into his library. There he saw a magnificent and flying book which flew towards him. He caught hold of it and as he opened it contained no alphabets or words but just moving pictures. In one of the pictures a man asked him to bring their king and queen back and he shall be rewarded for it.
Prince Peerless couldn't understand what was going on and he shut the book in horror, but he felt drawn back to the gallery with the moving images on the window. He looked at them and followed the path they indicated. He reached into a hidden room through a tunnel behind one of the paintings as instructed. The room was so spacious and lavish, yet he felt a sense of loneliness and sadness in the room. In the middle of the room there was a huge bed in which a beautiful lady was sleeping…………………. (will be continued)
Who is that lady? Is she Princess Sunbeam or any other extraordinary person? Why is she sleeping for so long in the most hidden room of the tower which was not used for over 200 years? How did she survive?
