So, Today I will tell you every details about Time travel in real life. This topic “Time travel” is one of those topics which always creats controversies and difficulties between scientists of all over the world. If you wanna know, read this article till end.
Even in world of Physics this question is very difficult and contoversial but theories given by Sir Albert Einstein changed everyone's views on “Time travel”. Before their theories time travel is believd as a myth among all. But, after their theories this topic heated up among us.
Now, lets take dive in the ocean of Physics and start our topic about “Time travel”. In my previous blogs i told u about What the thing time is ? i told u all about Sir Einstein's “ Law of Special Relativity ” which he gave in 1905.
According to Law of Special Relativity Time slows down or speeds up depending on you how fast you move relative to something else.
According to this this if a spaceship reaches near speed of light then the ageing speed of the person inside the spaceship will slowdown as compared to their family members who are waiting for him at his home. And, if the space ship reaches the speed of light then Time will stop for him. This phenomenon is called “Time Dilation” by Albert Einstein.
This Time dilation is a time travel in itself. In simple words if a person starts moving at speed of light till next six years. Then the outside world will spent six years of age but for him it will few months or days of ages.
Again, in 1915 he came up with new updated version of Theory of Relativity which he named as “Theory of General Relativity”.
In this theory he told us that the force of gravity can bend time
Picture a four-dimensional fabric called space-time. When anything that has mass sits on that piece of fabric, it causes a dimple or a bending of space-time. The bending of space-time causes objects to move on a curved path and that curvature of space is what we know as gravity.
The fast moving GPS satellites which have very accurate time settings. The effects of gravity and increased speed of satellite cause daily of 38 microsecond gain in their accurate fixed clocks. You know why?
Yes, its Time Dilation. The speed and mass of earth bends time at a micro level which causes 38 microsecond of deflection in clocks of satellites which are revolving around earth.
In differ sense we can say that astronauts are time travelers because they returns on earth slightly younger than their actual age . If they would have still stayed on earth instead of going to space their age would have slightly older.
Through the Wormholes
Based on special solution of Sir Albert Einstein's field equations a point is possibly exist which can link any two locations in space-time. Example - these two locations can be two places , two realities or two time periods. It is possibly exist in theories but nobody has ever spotted one.
In simple words we say that a Wormhole is shortcut passage is cosmos to cover a large distance(in light years) in short time.
Through Black Holes
Black holes are regions of space-time where there is so strong gravitational from which any molecules even electro-magnetic waves like light can't escape from it.
From theory of General Relativity we know that gravity can bend time. We know that the object is that much heavier that much more its gravitational force will be.And, the more gravitational force the more it will affact the time stream.
So, if any ship will revolve around blackhole the large amount of time dilation will happen.If that ship will revolve around blackhole for seven years than for person inside the ship the time passed is seven years but when he will return to the earth, around 60 years would have been passed.
But the problem is that the gravitational force of blackhole is very strong.It is that much strong force that can break our bones in thousand pieces in few seconds even the spaceshuttle cannot survive that much force.
So, my final conclusion is Time travel is possible in our daily life but our current technology is not that much developed which can make Time travel possible. So we have to wait to see this miracle.
