Here's a quick story about a girl and what she did to gain her confidence. 

Leah was 22 year old in California and was living solo. She was managing her household, plus the college and all the expenses. She was working in a departmental store for her living. She did not ask help from her parents because they were separated and her will did not allow. Though, she had the custody with her mother but still she denied any help from her. 

She was very conscious about her looks. She did all try to improve her marks from the face. From to A to Z, she tried all beauty products and all in vain. She used be to teased about her looks in college. She ignored at first but it was becoming unmanageable. 

It was fine day, Leah was walking through the corridor to her class. A girl named, Sofia, who was college cheer leader and obviously, too famous. She was a bully and never left a chance to point out Leah. In the class, teacher announced that there would be a play and every one should participate. Leah used to write well and was to good at direction. And yes, she got what she wanted. 

She wrote an amazing play and worked very hard for it. Next day, teacher liked the play so much that he said the play would be on this script and Leah will be in charge of direction and casting. Leah, being a responsible, started working on casting process. Many approached for the lead role but it was up to Leah who she would choose. Sofia, being a brat, indirectly threatened Leah to cast her as female lead. But it was Leah's call. 

Leah realized it was her turn to shine and casted other girl. Sofia, being Sofia started to show her colors. She used to poke in her way. Leah started to know that it's turn to answer her back.  On the day of rehearsals, Sofia suddenly starting bragging and Leah did not miss the chance. She said “ Look girl ! For all these years, you have poking me for looks or about anything else. I have stayed quiet but not anymore. You seriously need to get a life and stop being obsessed with me. Just calm down. Either you be my co director or the door is at left. Your choice.” 

There was silence in the hall because no one expected Leah to speak so brave. Leah had her confident smile. Next day, Sofia did not create chaos and surprisingly helped Leah. The play turned out to be BLOCKBUSTER.
