Hi guys 👋  in this blog lets us see about the tax detection at source

💡In section 40 of Prof profit and games we had a brief overview of tax detection episodes in the case of winning and interest income while discussing it in ifos it was specified that if the net amount or some of received is given then the same needs to be gross up as they have been given after deduction of tax at source this chapter exclusively deals with the provision of TDS before entering the chapter let's try to understand the concept we know that one person expenditure is another person saying come in case of a few payments there law cast the responsibility of on the pair to detect at percentage at tax before making such payment in other words that total sum is divided into two directly paid to another person under acting a part has that need to paid to the government in the name of recipient person just scope of the tax include the rate of tax that had to be detected when tax has to be remitted what other administrative aspect need to be other the some that can be paid without detecting that we call this hold limit few definitions administrative aspect of TDS section 200 (3) duty of the person detecting TDS every person whose liable to detect tax at source shall after paying that act director to the central government account prepare quarterly statement for the period ending 30th June 30th September and 31st December and 31st March such statement shall be delivered to the prescribed income tax authority or authorised agency the side statement should be in such form and within such time as maybe prescribed TDS returns have to be filled on or before the 15th of month following the quarter for example for the quarter ending 31st December TDS return should be filled on or before 15th June date is April 30th automatic tax credit define where any tax has been detected and paid into Central Government account the amount of detected and in the statement of written shall be treated as tax paid by the person from whose income it has been detected automatic credit shall be given to him for the amount so detected in the way in which such income is assessable.
