Role of director 
A boss is needed since too many people or involved in making a film this boss is that director he is responsible for converting the screenplay into existing images and instructing the actor to perform the way he or she wants before the cameraman start shooting the film The director or practices each scene several times with the actor only when he is satisfied does he say action and the first of the many taking film recording start. 
How films get sound 
Sound in a film consist of several elements there is the O sound the original sound these are for instance the dialogues there are also background sounds for instance sound of a burning fire many of these are produced by foley artist with simple instruments such as vessels both aluminium foil and screw if focus struck against straw it sounds when the volume is turned on if someone isbeating a machete through the forest all sounds and the music are then compiled in a sound studio experts calling this mixing underequardtered honour special track the soundtrack to complete the film The soundtrackers synchronised exactly with the pictures 
Dubbing 🤔
A lot of foreign language films or translated in the local language of the country where they are shown the local language speaker sit in the studio and the film is shown to him or her the speaker master speak his or her text in such a way that it matches the little movements of the actor as for as possible text and mouth moments must be synchronised this word is derived from agreek word which means simultaneous dubbings often expensive and sometimes original films are shown with subtitles this means that a short translation of the spoken text is shown in the lower part of the screen. 
Animation film
In animation films the artificial figures are shown to be alive the sequence of their movements this broken down into individual parts and the movements of the each part is captured as an image in cartoon films each image is drawn by hand 24 images are needed for 1 second of the film today the pictures for animation can be generated on the computer but there are still many life sized model s of the figures built for instant the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park.
