Korea: Beautiful Places Catching Heart

hey everyone , i think you guys got bored because my last 4 blogs were about korea. now this is the last one, “chencha”.

so as my title says , lets see the beautiful places in korea. korea has more than 3000 offshore islands. they are very beautiful and eye catching.

this is the picture of “cheongsando island” . this island is meant for its rapeseed fields. every year they host a “snow walking festival” on the first snow, people try to walk as slowly as possible to enjoy the scenery.

this is the picture of “boseong county”. this is the place where 40% of koreas tea is produced.

this is the picture of “ulleungdo island”. this is a volcanic island which has a beautiful scenery. it looks like hawai. it connects to japan known as sea of japan destination. this island is especially known for its seafood varieties. “bongbap bap” is a seafood dish made of rice and served with mussels.

before going to the next one , korea is famous for seafood of course after japan. japan is the first place famous for seafood. but most of the koreans enjoy stir fried octopus, web foot octopus, sashimi. they enjoy sashimi more than shushi. live squid is the most famous food in korea. it is a seasoned squid dish were squid is still alive and it moves when you put it in your mouth. imagine youself what it feels like when you eat something alive and it still moves inside your mouth. oh my god! its scary.

most of the people who see k-dramas know about joseon dynasty. koreans only talk about joseon dynasty i don't know why. i think they don't know the dynasties before that beacause joseon is the last one. let's see some historical places.

this is busan, the second largest city in the country. you can hit the beach in busan. being the largest city it is filled with a lot of culture and history. “beomeosa temple” and the hillside village of “gamecheon”. gamecheon is the europe- korean style village, it looks like korean version of santorini.

“jagalchi market” is for seafood lovers. it is koreas largest seafood market.

this is “jeonju”, now we came to the topic. this city is spiritual city of joseon dynasty. it is home to many ancient temples and has a village called “hanok village”. hanok means preserved ancient and old homes. they are found throughout korea. this is the most important and make sure to visit this place first when you go to korea.

so that's it guys, hope everyone enjoys my blog. “annyong, haengbhogae”.
