Vishnuvardhan's film Shershaah is a moving and intense depiction of the life and bravery of Indian Army Captain Vikram Batra, a Param Vir Chakra recipient whose bravery and selflessness during the 1999 Kargil War are famous. The movie, which has Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, is notable for being both a moving ode to a national hero and a military drama.
Shershaah's story is masterfully crafted, flitting between the early years of Vikram Batra, his ardent love affair with Dimple Cheema (Kiara Advani), and his military service. Sandeep Shrivastava's screenplay skillfully strikes a balance between Batra's personal and professional life, providing a comprehensive portrait of the man hidden behind the uniform. The conversations have an impact.

As Captain Vikram Batra, Sidharth Malhotra gives a performance that defines his career. His portrayal of Batra is sincere and captivating, perfectly encapsulating her boundless energy and youthful excitement. The change from a carefree young man to a valiant soldier is convincingly and subtly shown. As Dimple Cheema, Kiara Advani embodies the emotional fortitude and resiliency needed by those who stand by warriors with warmth and nuance.
Love, duty, sacrifice, patriotism, and duty are all explored in Shershaah. It explores the mind of a soldier who is a son, a lover, and a friend in addition to being a fighter. The film offers a profound sense of respect and affection for the military forces by highlighting the enormous sacrifices made by troops and their families.
In summary, Shershaah pays homage to Captain Vikram Batra in a way that honours and respects his courage and passion. It is notable as one of the best modern Indian biographical war dramas. Shershaah is a must-watch for anyone looking to be inspired by a true story of bravery and heroism because of its amazing visuals, captivating storytelling, and outstanding performances, particularly from Sidharth Malhotra.

more over, this movie is my personal favourite choice. very interesting and emotional film. my point of view of the film's cilmax which ended up in a grief was that, the hero (sidharth) is dead in the end in the war and his beloved love of his life kiara advani only gets to see his dead body whom she wanted to love and spend her life time with. its truly sad to bear the loss of a loved one.
thus, this movie has a grief ending.  i would recommend y'all to watch this movie
