First of all a big shout-out for you since it is obvious that you want to consider changing something about your food habit and of course for a healthier alternative.

Since the very first day you all started looking at your body with a feeling that you are turning into a teddy bear and the same is not a healthier version of yourself, you had tried a number of diets and several types of fitness routines. You started loosing your weight, higher metabolism, improved health and all good. One day that happened. You were out and went to this restaurant which you know by yourself and there he was!! He was looking at you with all the mouthwatering seasonings and toppings.Yeah!! It all started with one burger after a long time. 

It felt sooo gooood!!

You promised yourself that you will never do this again. You tried hard everyday and what??

He is good at playing mind games with you. So it happened again again and again!!! Within few weeks, the same teddy bear is back and the cycle repeats!!

Why Junk food is so addictive?

Ever thought why junk foods are so addictive? 

Our brain experience the maximum pleasure of taste senses when the flavors are in an appropriate proportion of salt,sugar, sour and spice. The food manufactures know the formula to make the same.

So, we are going to discuss a few tips which will help you get over the junk food cravings to some extent.

1.Eat healthy and filling food 

Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables so that you feel full for a long time 🍊 🍏

2.Count the calories 

Know the calories of each junk food items that you intake. Never underestimate the calories in just a single slice of pizza (285 calories) πŸ•. You may have to walk for at least an hour to burn the same.

3.Add variety to your meal plans 

No matter how healthy your diet menu is, you may get bored and the cravings for the old favorite burger comes in if you don't incorporate different meals in your plan.

Yeah. A proven appetite reducer whether it be junk or not.

5.Do not starve 

This is very important. Always remember that if you are not feeling hungry, you hesitate to have a bite of your favorite junk even if it is fancy and rich enough to make you fall for it .

6.Always remember the benefits 

Tell yourself what all things you are going to gain from this. Improved digestion and health, better physique, reduced risk of lifestyle diseases, improved well being and the list continues.

7.Be aware of stress 

Some people tend to over eat with increased stress levels in body. Observe your moods, practice meditation and do not let them make the hard harder for you.

8.Diet along with your partner or a friend 

This helps and motivates you to keep the new lifestyle in track. 

9.Do not restrict, do replace 

It is about your all time favorite foods. Since it is hard for you to completely avoid them which in turn boosts the cravings, you can try replacing few ingredients. For example, sugar with honey and fried items with grilled or boiled.

10.Tell your brain 

Our brain has a tendency to eat something more if we are convinced that this food is going to be great in all sense. Do remind you brain that this is junk and it doesn't matter how appealing they look and taste, they carry all the unnecessary fat and lifestyle diseases which are capable enough to shorten our time in this planet.

 A healthy meal plan includes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. A healthy diet also includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts.They help us in reducing the risk of cardiometabolic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. Always do remember your eating habits play a crucial role in your well being and lifespan.
