As we all know we are living at a very fast pace without even considering some time for our own personal growth and productivity enhancement.And the result?? Spending the whole day at desk, sometimes without breaks, sometimes even without food and at the end of the day , still tired and amzed on the pending list of works to be done for the day. Have you ever thought about the magic of attention management and how the same can be enhanced with some very basic changes in routine.
Let me share 10 tips to become more productive which does not cost you a single penny. Since we all are busy, without further due let me get into this straight.
10 tips to become more productive at work
1.Plan your tomorrow today itself.
2.Split your tasks into work - break schedules (ex:work 25 minutes - break 5 minutes )
3.Set apps in mobile/laptop which will help you to track day schedules and make sure you are not missing out anything.
4.Identify the distractions which cause procrastination and keep them at bay.
5.Reward yourself with something you like to do for a successfully completed task.
6.You can take break of 15 minutes once a specific task is achieved.
7.When the stress levels go high, get yourself lost with the nature or listen to some music you like at least for 2 minutes . Trust me this method works like magic and you will get yourself put together back. If the job is getting you stressed everyday , analyse why the same is happening and work on a solution which can be learning , relaxing or even finding a job which is less stressful.
8. Remember health is a key factor in productivity. Feed yourself with nutrition rich foods and exercise at lease 20 minutes a day and meditate for at least 5 minutes a day (you can keep a schedule for these also in the productivity tracker apps :))
9.Asses your day at the end of the day and plan your next day with 1% more productivity. Never carry your office works into your personal life. Keep a work- life schedule . If you are struggling on that remeber the problem might be with with productivity.
10.Try these steps for at least one week and stick on to it. This may be a little too much for you initially, if you are a born procrastinator.Trust me once you form these habits be aware that productivity has already became a habit too.
