Hello everyone! In this blog is about dreaming in night…..
We dream at night because our brain releases certain chemicals that help us fall asleep. These chemicals then increase while we sleep and decrease when we wake up. When we sleep, our body rests from the day’s activities, allowing the brain to rejuvenate. This allows the brain to work properly so it can make decisions and learn patterns.
Dreaming occurs when your mind is not distracted by your environment. Your brain focuses on the past experiences that have occurred and uses these memories to create a story line of dreams. It is thought that this may contribute to how people remember their dreams.
Dreams can last anywhere between 20 minutes and 4 hours. Most experts believe that the average person has seven to eight dreams per night but only remembers three of them. Many people don't recall any of their dreams. Some individuals who suffer from nightmares have vivid dreams that they often remember after waking up. Dreaming is stimulated by many factors including emotions, stress, drugs, alcohol, caffeine, exercise, illness, etc.
People who have trouble sleeping tend to have more vivid dreams than those who have no problems falling asleep.
There are two types of dreams - REM (rapid eye movement) and Non-REM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement). While awake you remain still, but as soon as your eyes start moving you enter into the stage of REM sleep. In this state, you experience rapid breathing and muscle twitching. You will then transition into the NON-REM state where you will have deep slow breathing.
Our dreams occur in stages of different colors. Blue represents calm and relaxed feelings, green signifies happiness, red indicates anger, and yellow means fear. Black represents death.
If we dream at night, our body becomes tired. However, if we sleep in daytime, then our energy level will be higher than that of nighttime because our brain will use less oxygen.
It's been said that we dream from our subconscious mind while sleeping. But there isn't any scientific evidence that supports this theory. There have been thousands of studies done on dreams and sleep but none has proven anything. We still don't know if we dream or not.
Scientists have speculated that maybe we do dream but we can't remember them. Or we may just dream and those memories come back to us later. Most people who claim to remember their dreams either had lucid dreams or they were simply too tired to forget their dreams. Either way, they say they remember their dreams well. Some people even believe that our dreams are the root cause of our actions while we're awake.
Thank you……
