Stadia is a cloud gaming service developed and operated by Google. It is advertised to be capable of streaming video games to players up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with support for high-dynamic-range via the company's numerous data centers. It is accessible through Chromecast Ultra devices, the Google Chrome web browser on personal computers as well as other Chromium-based browsers, the Stadia mobile app on supported Android smartphones,[1] and Chrome OS tablets.[2] There is also an experimental mode with support for all Android devices capable of installing the Stadia mobile app.[3] In December 2020, Google released an iOS browser-based progressive web application for Stadia, enabling gameplay in the Safari browser.[4]

Well, as know that Google has announced its own cloud gaming service called stadia back in 2019. and the public launch was on 8th April 2020. Google has basically done a lot of promises related to its cloud-based gaming company and they were pretty confident about it. Google had even set up an in-house Stadia studio to develop and produce games for their streaming platform. but now Google is going to shut down astonishingly its gaming service.

According to the report by Kotaku, the news of Google shutting down the Stadia division was as much of a surprise to the development team as it was for the public. and according to the General Manager of the Stadia division and VP at Google, told the team that they are making “great progress”  Phil Harrison.

In the email Phil Harrison wrote “[Stadia Games and Entertainment] has made great progress building a diverse and talented team and establishing a strong lineup of Stadia exclusive games,”

Moreover, Harrison promised to deliver more news about the development and the goals for the game studio. However, only a week after the email, the company announced to shut down the said division altogether.

“Given our focus on building on the proven technology of Stadia as well as deepening our business partnerships, we’ve decided that we will not be investing further in bringing exclusive content from our internal development team SG&E, beyond any near-term planned games,” he further added.

But the Google Cloud-Based gaming service will rely upon the third-party studios to add up its content library. and also Stadia is confirmed to add FIFA 21 and Judgment, alongside more than 100 other games, in 2021.

SO lets see what we will get to next by the google
