All those people out there who loves to know,read,or gain knowledge about geopolitics and major global events that shape the diplomacy must not turn a blind eye to the most controversial , volatile and complex major issue of Israeli Palestinian conflict currently ongoing for the past seven decades. In this blog, I will write about the famous issue from the basic terms since there are plethora of books , editorials , etc. that are available to develop insight into the conflict. 

THE ULTIMATE CAUSES OF THE CONFLICT 

1. Status of Jerusalem - As you all might be knowing but for those who are not aware, Jerusalem is the most sacred and holiest city on planet Earth where the religious shrines of three major Abrahamic communities (Christianity, Judaism, Islam) are located. Generations of wars had been fought between the Crusades and Arabs for the claim of ownership of the holy land .When Israel was proclaimed as a republic in 1948, Jewish state established authenticity and staked claim over the entire city eventually taking administrative control of Temple Mount in 1967 war with the Arab counterparts. Palestine(as called recognized as a state by the Arabic allies and other nations) laid claim over the Eastern part of the city of Jerusalem since it is the location of AL Aqsa Mosque. The point of conflict between the two parties involved is over the desire to establish full and final administrative control by considering Jerusalem as the capital of their respective countries.
2. Control by Isreal over Strategic locations like Golan Heights and Gaza Strip.
3. Construction of Israeli settlements in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip considered illegal by the international community organizations like United Nations
4. Terror originating from Palestinian regions ( Gaza Strip) and from neighboring states like Hezbollah in Lebanon.
5. Brutal military response by Israeli forces considered human rights violations by the UN observers.

Solutions for the conflict according to my perspective :

look , I am not an expert in the geopolitical issues but here are some of the viable solutions that can be put through  to deal with the unwarranted  crisis in the Middle Eastern region -  

• Firstly , the idea of “Two State Solution” should be promoted by all the parties concerned over the issue where there are two countries i.e Israel and Palestine coexisting peacefully with defined borders and full diplomatic ties with each other.
• There should be complete evacuation of unauthorized illegal Israeli settlements from Palestinian land and where utmost restraint be followed by Israeli Forces in dealing with Palestinian protestors.
• Terrorism operating from Gaza and other hostile areas to target Israel  must be curtailed and a conductive environment be established to negotiate bilateral issues with dialogue.

I think if we focus solutions of the issue then we may achieve peace atleast in the short run.
