Firstly we need to know the advantages of consuming papaya during menstrual cycle.

Papaya is very rich in vitamin A, calcium and potassium. It prevents from several illnesses. Papaya is a super fruit which also contains several vitamins, minerals and fibers. due to the presence of fiber content it also helps in preventing constipation.

Raw papaya contain a lot of heat that stimulates the production of hormone called estrogen in the body which results in normal regular periods in woman. It is very important to remember that only raw papaya helps to normalize the menstrual cycle not ripen papaya. Raw papaya stimulates contractions of uterus and can help in inducing periods. Papaya does not affect the heaviness of your period and it is the best fruit for people who are suffering with amenorrhea.

Papaya is harmful to pregnant woman because the fruit has high concentration of latex that cause uterine contractions and may damage certain membranes in the body that are essential for the fetal development but it is very useful for the women who are suffering with irregular periods. It is very safe to eat and gives good and fresh blood.

Green, unripe papaya is considered as useful fruit in regulating menstrual flow. 

Consume papaya juice regularly for few months if you are suffering with amenorrhea. If you are planning to get conceive then please consult your doctor before consuming papaya fruit or papaya juice.

Eating papaya on regular basis too helps in contracting the uterus muscles. One cup of papaya juice can be taken around the cycle for good bleeding and healthy blood.

Papaya might increase the warfarin effects and increase the chances of bleeding so be sure that you should check your blood regularly.

Many of the women suffer from severe period pain so by consuming this fruit  eases the painful flow during the time of your period and hence papaya is very good for women who are suffering with cramps and severe period pain.

Papaya also helps to reduce weight and that might decrease the chance of PCOS. So, women who are trying to loose your weight at the same time wants to control your menstrual cycle can have this fruit in a healthy way.

Eating papaya as a healthy snack, helps you to stay full for longer and hydrated.
