Google has always been  the favorite and best search engine for any individual. Everyone think it's more reliable and easy to handle app. Everyone trust this app or  search engine more than any other app. First impression about any search engine or internet in any individual mind is always Google. But there are various antitrust cases have been found against Google. As always Google is again defending itself from the charges of monopoly. Google 's monopoly is harming our Indian economy to a large extent. Google has always been working for dominance in ICT sector. In India approximately 95% of the people are using android smartphones operating system run by Google.

Recently, we have seen in news that Paytm Founder Vijay Sharma calls Google Play store fees costlier than any business taxes in a context where Elon musk has been seen blaming apple and epic games company. In 2020; Google play store has launched a policy according to which “It is compulsory for app developers to use the Built-in payment System in the play store to sell their services. Because of this policy only many of the payment gateways like paytm are getting harmed. One of the  important policy is that if any tech companies wants to place their product on Google play store ;they have to pay 30% commission with other expenses to Google and all other subscription payments will only be made through google payment service. 

Because of all these policies of Google there is an entry barrier for any startup in India. According to mint report in November 2020; Competition commission of India asked the viewpoints from 17 startup companies founder  about the Google monopoly and its effect on their startups like Paytm, upgrad, zomato, dream11 etc. Google has signed various contract  with various companies to enhance its monopolizing nature in economy. Google has signed a contract with Apple of 12 billion dollar for every year to form  or setup Google as a default search engine in safari browser. According to reports Google has 80% of market share in search engine service.

One of the most important case where Texas has accused google for creating monopoly in advertising markets and this accusation was based on Google and Facebook illegal agreement to rig Ad auctions. Google has been dominating because of all its mergers and contracts in every field like double click ,ITA software, Waze maps etc. It is one of the biggest threat to small startups as it will increase cost of operation and activities. It will also effect new innovations etc. To protect Indian economy and  startups new laws and regulations should be made so that startup business should increase. Also some alternative platforms should be made from Government against Google monopoly.
