Life can't be perfect by any chance, but we can work on something to make it better. We all go through this at a point in our life where guilt and fear take over our life. We all make mistakes, knowingly or unknowingly we become part of a memory we want to forget or even think of if we could have fixed that at a particular time, but time doesn't stay for long. These mistakes aren't big ones but they make a vast difference in our life. it's better if we keep an open eye on them.
Never let someone walk over you -
Putting limits or boundaries for people around is much more important than anything nowadays, you have to takes care of your mental health, helping people is right but if they are asking for more than you can give, then it's important to show them where they stand because when you let people walk over you, they do it constantly and it takes away a piece of you, Giving you unresolved emotions and doubts over yourself. it's better to keep the boundaries.
Don't be a โ yes yes โ person -
We all know people love to take more than we can offer to them, saying yes to things you don't want to do only makes you feel bad about yourself, the other person might be happy with your response but if you're dragging yourself to do it, then it's not worth it, saying no is not illegal though it feels like, protecting yourself from lifetime guilt should be more of a goal. Saying yes all the time not only trips you to guilt but also exhausts you emotionally, so it's important to learn to say no when needed.
Never encourage bullying -
We are pretty aware of bullying, it's not always violent sometimes it's through words, we don't realize even a small piece of bullying can cut a person deeper, now of course you don't bully but sometimes we may not notice but sarcastic comments or a simple body-shaming can bully too, it makes the other person insecure about themself and they might end up hating and blaming themself for it. Sometimes we are not even part of it but not taking action against others might make us equal to them. It's important and needed nowadays to protect each other mentally too.
