Eliminate Highlighter Stains Have you ever wanted to get highlighter marks out of a book? Lemon juice makes highlighter almost invisible by fading it sufficiently. Halve a lemon and squeeze some juice onto a cotton swab. Watch the colour fade as you move the swab over the highlighted words. Using lemon juice from a jar also seemed to work. However, on the pieces we tested, it didn't work quite as well, and the harder it is to remove, the older the imprint. Also, have a look at these expert recommendations for discreet cleaning.                                                                                                                      Mirrors Without Fog Use auto wax to keep your bathroom mirror from fogging up after a hot shower. After letting the mirror dry after applying a tiny amount of vehicle wax, rub it with a soft, dry cloth. Expert advice that can save you a lot of money on your next bathroom renovation.                                                                                              Renew Your Furniture in a Matter of Minutes In his room, my son covered every piece of furniture with stickers from skate shops, arenas, and gumball machines. I wanted to utilise his furniture in the new guest room once he moved out, but without the stickers. Using a putty knife and a hair dryer to loosen the glue, I removed every sticker. I was able to remove all of them in a few hours, albeit some are more difficult than others. — Steve Winter.                                                                                                                               Remove Wrinkles from Your Clothes with Minimal Effort
To remove creases from a shirt or pair of trousers, do away with the cumbersome iron and portable steamer. Put some ice cubes or a damp washcloth in the dryer along with your clothing that are rumpled. The wrinkles will disappear when the ice melts and the water transforms into steam. This tip works wonders on thinner textiles, but it is less useful for heavy apparel. The best thing is that the dryer only needs to be set for ten minutes or less to start working.                                                                               Remove Paint from Carpets
Prior to learning this little trick from a former foreman, I used to believe that spitting paint on the carpet meant the carpet needed to be replaced. Using a cloth dipped in denatured alcohol, remove the paint. Because the alcohol may cause some of the rag's colour to transfer to the carpet, use a rag that closely matches the carpet's colour. — Tom Gerdowsky.                                                                                                                             Take Out the Gum from the Carpet
Gum becomes brittle and readily breaks apart when it freezes. Therefore, to get rid of gum that has become embedded in your carpet swiftly and neatly, freeze it.
After covering the gum with a sandwich bag full of ice cubes, wait for approximately thirty minutes.
Break the gum apart and remove it off the carpet once it has frozen. Not a trace was found.
