To remove creases from a shirt or pair of trousers, do away with the cumbersome iron and portable steamer. Put some ice cubes or a damp washcloth in the dryer along with your clothing that are rumpled. The wrinkles will disappear when the ice melts and the water transforms into steam. Gum becomes brittle and readily breaks apart when it freezes. Therefore, to get rid of gum that has become embedded in your carpet swiftly and neatly, freeze it.
After covering the gum with a sandwich bag full of ice cubes, wait for approximately thirty minutes.
Break the gum apart and remove it off the carpet once it has frozen. Not a trace was found.
