Darren Star, a very renowned director has created and also produced a show which is one of the best shows that I have watched lately. Named as “YOUNGER”  this show is divided into seven seasons which is perfectly blended and it is of great pleasure to watch it. This show is based on the novel bearing the same name which was written by Pamela Redmond. The first season of this show was aired in 2015 and the last season was aired in 2021. It is mostly premiered on tv land and paramount tv.

The show mainly focuses on a lady named Liza Miller who is actually a 40 year old divorced mom from new jersey, but who lies about her age and claims to be 26 just so that she can achieve her dream job in a well renowned publication house named The Empirical Press. All the seven seasons are very encapsulating because the story inter twines among all its characters. 

There are many characters in the show. Some of them are Liza, Josh who is her young boyfriend who mistakes her to be of the same age as he is, Maggie who is Liza's best friend and who gives her a shelter to stay in her house. Officially we meet Charles who is the owner of the publishing house and Diana and Kelsey are the people who are working or the firm as editors. Liza on the other hand is the assistant to Diana in the office and this is how her dual life begins for getting her dream job.

Apart than the chemistry that we see among the characters, this show also focuses on showing the different genres of novels. One of the most chit chatted books in the entire season was the “crown of the kings” series which was shown with lot of popularity in the show. Many famous readers are also shown in this show with their respective works of art. 

The story unfolds many emotions of love, drama, suspense, doubt, secrets and many other views. The drama is created in the first season itself and by the end of season seven we see that there is still undecided fate for many of the characters in terms of love and relationship but eventually everyone goes their own way. 

The ending of the show is a very puzzling one because it literally ends in a manner in which it started. It is a very well described show and to enjoy it fully you must definitely give it a binge watch. All the seasons are now available to watch in the above mentioned channels.
