The Supreme Court is hearing the RCA Lokpal case on Friday. Two days ago, the Supreme Court had asked RCA to respond to Dinesh Chandra Somani, saying that the appointment of RCA as Lokpal was wrong. According to the Lodha Committee, only a retired Supreme Court Justice or Chief Justice of the High Court can become the Lokpal, whereas the RCA had appointed a High Court Justice as the Lokpal. The Supreme Court had restrained Somani from taking any decision. Only after this hearing, it will be a final decision whether Somani remains the RCA ombudsman or not.

RCA elections are on 30. Objections will be heard on Friday and Saturday. Hearing in 7 districts Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Dausa and Dungarpur will be held on Friday from 11 am to 3 pm. The hearing on the objections of Jaipur, Kota, Nagaur, Pali, Pratapgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh will be held from 11 am to 3:30 pm on the next day.
