Men Are Beautiful, And Not Just Handsome.

"We slaughter one another in our words and attitudes. We slaughter one another in the stereotypes and mistrust that linger in our heads, and the words of hate we spew from our lips." ~ Nelson Mandela

Stereotypes in society are something that keeps dwelling on facts and notions that might seem righteous to some but not to others. These vague ideas of patronizing thoughts make it difficult for many to stand out. One such stereotype that I’ve noticed a lot for quite some time that might not come as a surprise to you, are the issues that most men face just for being themselves. Many have succumbed to these stereotypical norms, and it’s high time to stop this prejudice and make sure that we provide men with due uprightness.

One doesn’t have to be ripped, muscular, or to have six-pack abs to be beautiful and handsome. It’s just as fine if one is skinny or has a large tummy or is of a darker complexion. We must realize that we’re beautiful just the way we are and we may need more people to love us that way but it’s salient that we must love ourselves.

BOSY ISSUES AND THE HYSTERIA!

Male body issues are just as significant as other notable issues, and while making comments and statements one must not forget about the hurt and despair that one creates in their mind. Skinny men are beautiful too; Small or Fat men too; after all, it’s their choice and decisions to make. We’re no one to decide that for them, thus respecting their takes on their lives.

WHERE ARE PLUS-SIZE MEN IN  FASHION CAMPAIGNS?

Change is something that inevitably is going to be there, but it depends upon us whether that change is going to be GOOD or BAD. Plus-size male models should have the alike kind of recognition as similar counterparts.

IT’S OKAY FOR MEN TO CRY. YES, IT IS JUST AS NORMAL AND FINE.

As men are also human beings, and humans are nothing without their emotions so it is very much normal for men to cry and grieve. Suppression of these emotions and building up of the pain and sorrow deep in that soul of yours is not going to reap any benefits. It’s better to let your emotions flow rather holding them for such reasons.

BOYS NEED EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND POSITIVITY IN THEIR LIVES TOO, JUST LIKE EVERYBODY.

Love is a powerful thing and it has to be shared and enjoyed by everyone. Life may surprise you with its beauty and terrors, and we may face it with the absolute purity of our hearts. Positivity in our lives is like that vitamin in our diet whose deficiency might lead to disease. Whatever may the situation or circumstances be, we must never forget the importance of a positive approach in our lives. It is only then we’ll rise above those towers of insecurities and doubts that we possess.

THE AMOUNT OF FACIAL HAIR DOESN’T DEFINE YOUR MANLINESS.

This is something that might be very upsetting for many but facial hair is just a mere biological gift that God has gifted us with, as it’s more on our hormones and not an attribute of masculinity. What makes you a man, is more on your character and qualities such as compassion, empathy, and tolerance that you acquire while growing up and polishing these.

Being manly may define the essence you must carry within yourself instead of the quality of facial hair you grow in this life.

MEN DOESN’T HAVE TO BE MASCULINE, TO BE ATTRACTIVE.

Masculinity used to be mostly socially manufactured, but that is no longer the case. Certain sets of traits that our civilization has established to describe its concept are incomprehensible to me. Attraction is something that may vary for every other individual, different people have different ideas of attraction. We must not change ourselves, to be liked by somebody. It is our choices that define our actions and everybody's scared but, we must own our actions in life.

WE MUST DROP THIS IDEA OF ‘REAL MEN’ WE’RE ALREADY REAL.

The other day I googled ‘What a Real man is and the answers were unreal. According to me everyone’s, capable and decisive enough to recognize what’s good or not. This idea of a ‘Real Man’ is vague and illogical, we already are real and shouldn’t require somebody else’s approval on this. Something becomes real as soon as we realize it is real, understanding and overcoming our shortcomings will help us to achieve this.
