Life Is Too Short To Be In Misery!

What is Misery?

Misery is something that settles down in us when we are all surrounded by the cloud of negativity. Our mind just needs "more and more" of anything when we start liking it. It becomes miserable when we start holding on to something which is not in our hands. That is the point where Misery starts to begin.

Too much of anything is always painful whether it is for your body or MIND.

What is the reason behind misery?

It all starts from “ME”. When we start combining our thoughts to our self or we can say when we start positioning ourselves to the top of anything based on our intellect. “My thoughts, My feelings, only me.”

At this point, we stop realizing that what the truth is. We just start accepting which is not. We start ignoring the truth. Holding on to the past or just holding on to our thoughts. Our mind starts living in the past or future instead of living in the present (which is the only truth we should know).

When you want things to be done in your way or the person to behave or act according to you. You are miserable. Whether people are aware of this or not but somewhere or the other everyone does this at some point in time. Expectations when not fulfilled bring misery.

Just thinking of your future gets your mind to live in the future. Problem begins. We start living in the moments created by our minds. When we get aware of this then stress comes. Whether it will get fulfilled or not. If yes, how will it feel? if no, What will I do?

We just get stuck in between reality and dream.

Considering

Past as a happening, Present as doing, and Future as both Happening and Doing.

-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

We just have to do what we are doing and just drop the idea of thinking of the future all day long. You will get what you want but it's the journey that always stays as a good memory. If the journey to your goal is not good for you then there is no point in achieving what you want.

How to overcome Misery?

Self-love is all that we need. Half the job is done when we just accept the negative thoughts coming out of our minds. Know that every person gets Miserable it's not just you.

Have a strong resistance to negative thoughts and Welcome positive thoughts. Breathing helps.

Start giving time to yourself and take some breaks from your routine and give time to your skills and to know yourself.

Meditation is the best form to dive deep into your true self.

Studies show : Chanting can decrease stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms, as well as increase positive mood, feelings of relaxation and focused attention.

Spirituality, Just helps you to stay on the right path. Whatever the situation is.

Believe in yourself and the divine power.
