Method of preparation of Dhokla in Cooker

Oil - 1 tbsp asafoetida - pinch of mustard - half tsp green chilli - 4 chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp water - 1 water sugar - 1 tsp sugar pressure cooker Dhokla stand tadka pan

Method - Sieve gram flour in a vessel. Make a small paste of gram flour not too thin or too thick by adding a little water to it, keep in mind that there should not be any lumps in the paste. Add lemon juice, salt and curd and mix well. Cover and keep this mixture for 1-2 hours. So that it swells well. After a while, add green chili ginger paste to it and whisk again. - After this Dhokla cooking utensils Grease it with oil. Put 2-3 cups of water in the cooker and keep it to heat on high heat. Then add eno fruit salt to the thick paste of gram flour and whisk for one minute. You will see that the paste has swollen. Now, without any delay, put this mixture in an oil pot and keep it in the cooker and close the lid. Take care not to blow the whistle of the cooker. - After cooking in steam for 20-25 minutes on medium flame, open the lid after the pressure of the cooker is over. - With a knife in Dhokla , try it. If the knife is clean then dhokla It has been cooked and if the paste has wetness, then cook it for 2-3 minutes more. After the time, remove the dhokla from the cooker and leave it for a while. Then cut the dhokla into small pieces. Now put oil in a tempering pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, green chillies and curry leaves, and temper it. Put a cup of water and sugar in this tempering and put it to a boil and turn off the heat. Pour the prepared tempering on the dhokla and garnish with coriander leaves and eat.
