100 Questions In Just 60 Minutes
Finding it hard to solve 100 questions in 60 minutes in preliminary exams of sbi, ibps, rrb and many more. Here are some tips which i learned during my preparation and it my help you out too!!
So let's get started:
- Firstly you need to understand the pattern that there are three sections of English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability.
- Each section has 20 minutes each to attempt and you can't switch in betweenbetween the sections once the time for a particular section is over you can move onto the next.
- English language has 30 question one mark each. So to prepare for English make sure you make it a habit to read news paper daily if not the complete paper make sure you go through the editorial section and make a list of the words and remember their meaning. It'll help you a lot in vocab improvement and reading daily in error detection.
- Quant section contains 35 questions so you need to develop speed for that try learning squares of the numbers till 50 and cubes till 21 at least and also the fractional value of percentage. Tables upto 20 help a lot in faster calculation.
- For reasoning make sure your concepts are clear as in syllogism and inequalities and make sure you go through each and every condition mentioned in the puzzle as missing out anyone will to incorrect puzzle and wasting your precious time.
- Try maintaining your calm because once the time starts i have seen many students panic as they won't be able to complete it on time.
- Remember target is not to attempt all the questions but to attempt questions correctly because negative marking is also there. So, accuracy plays a very important role and as the preliminary exam is just of qualifying nature you need not to worry about getting highest marks but just to clear the cut off.
- Every time you practice make sure you set a timer it will give you examination hall like environment and once you are used to of it.. You won't be sacred of it during paper.
- Most importantly be consistent… .! Remember “hardwork is the key to success”
