Holidays are both fun and playful, until you look in the mirror and realize your skin is two or more stories darker. If your tan fades over time but you're in a hurry, try these home remedies. Here's how to get rid of a sunburn quickly! No more worrying about spending long hours in the sun or at the beach.

5 home remedies to prevent sunburn :

  1. Lemon:

Lemon, also known as our main ingredient, has a very high natural acidity, is highly sensitive to light, etc., so it is not recommended to use it alone, especially before sun exposure. Enriched with ascorbic, glycolic and alpha hydroxy acids, this natural bleach exfoliates the top layers of skin to remove all forms of sun damage and dark spots. Lemon juice is known to be too drying, so add a little honey (a natural humectant) to the lemon juice for best results. No wonder this combination is considered one of the best home remedies for removing sunburn on the face.

2. Tomato:

Tomatoes are great ingredients for beauty and skin care. A source of vitamin C and antioxidants, it promotes the growth of collagen in the body. Contains lycopene, which effectively protects the skin from sunburn and pollution and acts as a natural sunscreen.
It also helps fight cell damage and stimulate new cell growth. Tomatoes are one of the most effective ingredients for removing sunburn.

 Use:
* Mash the tomato to separate the pulp and apply the juice to the affected area or all over your face.
* Let dry for 15 minutes, then rinse with water.
It not only removes tanning but also makes your skin look brighter and radiant.

3. Turmeric:

Turmeric is an excellent skin brightening agent while Bengal gram flour (besan) lightens skin effectively.

Make a thin paste by adding 1 tsp turmeric powder to the cup of Bengal gram flour and mixing some water or milk. Apply this mixture to your face and body and let it dry before gently washing it with lukewarm water.

The tan on your skin will be reduced by regular use.

5. papaya:

The cosmetics industry has always put this humble fruit on its pedestal. To reap the benefits of this all-in-one wonder, scoop and puree the pulp and apply to face, hands and legs, or simply blend to make this sun protection wrap at home. Papaya contains the enzyme papain, which gently exfoliates the outermost layer of cells, improving skin texture and making it more even, removing pigment spots, removing sun spots, and clogging open pores.
