Hello friends since my last few blogs I was talking about advertising and marketing. But let's put it on the pause and start something new today. Today we will be learning about what are  and how to write business letters. Businessman have to work a lot with customers-  suppliers as well as authorities and creditors and the general public. There is also a correspondence between the departments of the organisation. The aim of these correspondence is to sending and receiving information to sum up  business transactions. Communication can be oral or written. The written communication is called correspondence in business. To correspond with somebody means an agreement with somebody. The word correspondence doesn't implies only on one letter but pairs of letters that consist the original letter and its reply. There is also something known as commercial correspondence which means correspondence regarding commercial transaction by businessmen. A business or a commercial correspondence is an essential part of business communication. Business letters help to build new relationships and maintain the existing  relationships of a business. A business letter is written to customers and employees and other firms and agencies with an aim to achieve a purpose like selling a product or making and enquiry. Creating a Goodwill or a brand image can also be a purpose to send business letters. In the world of computers technology is achieving new Heights and hence we use modern ways to communicate in the business field today the most common way to send a business correspondence is through emails. It is one of the cheapest and the best forms of communication. Since the business today is online email marketing is touching new heights. However there is a disadvantage of emails and that is that information online can be often misunderstood and this is the reason why many businesses even today rely upon using letters and fax. To establish contacts with various people who are associated with an organisation  communication place an essential role. No matter whether an organisation is small or big it has to communicate and business letters bridge the gap between them and the people they want to connect with. Earlier when business used to be small face -to- face conversations were a way to communicate but gradually as the size of business started increasing and globalisation made international business possible business letters became a huge part of business and are used till date.
