How To Live Intelligently?

Hi everyone!! Today I will be telling you what living intelligently means and how we can live intelligently. Living intelligently means to live a life which is a perfect balance of your needs and wants. We humans always want more but in our quest to gain more we often ruin what we have. So, now let's jump right into the topic to explore it more.

Let's go

In reality, we need only four things to survive:

a. A roof over our head.

b. Healthy food and clean water.

c. Comfortable clothing.

d. Basic healthcare and hygiene.

Everything that goes beyond this is your want or a desire.

A want is something you would like to have, but you can live in it's absence too.

How to differentiate between a want and a need?

a. List the things you will need in morning for example, shampoo, soap, toothbrush etc.

b. What about clothes? Do you need branded ones or comfortable yet stylish ones ?

c. What kind of vehicle you need? A car, bike, cycle etc.

d. What do you need at school, university or office? Stationery, plannere, books, bags etc.

The answers to these questions will help you to differentiate between your needs and wants.

Simplifying what you need in your life will help you to become more conscious about yourself. Don't feel deprived if you are unable to fulfill your desires because at the end of the day you will have to fulfill your prior commitments too, the commitments you made to your family, work etc. Cutting down the things which are not really important will help you to understand the importance of existing ones as well as make your life more organised. If you have a goal , plan it, execute it and then finally achieve it. Focusing on your needs will make it easier for you to focus on your dreams and goals in life. If you feel the urge to buy something more than your budget, don't be in a hurry to do so as later you can regret buying it. Try this 10 day rule instead, which is wait for atleast 10 days before you buys something, if the urge is same even after these ten days then you can buy it. However, most of the time you will find that this urged vanished or lessened.

I hope you like this post and you learnt something from it. I hope it cintributes to your learning and adds some value in your life.
