Everyone prefers to have tones of friends to enjoy with them, eat with them, go to different places with them but the truth is the larger your friends circle is, the more problems you face in life. This is because not all your friends are caring some are toxic, selfish, nonchalant too. Now, that doesn't mean that you stop talking to people, but I am just telling you that there is only one person whom you need to be a friend of and that's no one other than you. Yes, you need to be your own best friend. You first need to have a better understanding of yourself in such a way that even if your friends leave you tomorrow you are able to live peacefully, there are many people who become lonely, being lonely means you prefer someone else's company which simply means that others hold more importance than yourself in your life. So, today I will be sharing some tips with you which will help you to survive alone without being dependent on others.

Let's go

1.Try to understand yourself

Try to understand yourself, your habits, likes and dislikes. You can start with simple journaling or meditation. You can write about your daily routine or try to do a weekly swot analysis of yourself. It is very easy to do you just have to write your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in life and try to grab opportunities, convert weaknesses into strengths and remove threats.

2.Spend more time with yourself

Start spending more and more time with yourself such as going on a walk aine, doing something you never did alone such as try to go for a movie alone or a restaurant alone.

3.Work on yourself

When you will have to work on yourself it's obvious that you will have to do it alone. You can take a new self - improvement challenge and try to work in areas where you think you are weak and need to improve.

4.Stay away from manipulative and toxic people.

The biggest benefit of being alone and understanding yourself is that you start identifying the nature people have and know whether you have to stay with them or not.

Look, I am not telling you to live on a mountain and cut yourself out from the world. I am just telling you to be comfortable with yourself as there will be phases in life where people will leave you.
