What is the last thing you have done for the “first time”? Most of the time these “first time"s are bounded by rules made by our family, friends and soceity. Don't you think so? It's like a step that we are afraid to take. It might be something that we really wish for, but we need permission to do that.
In my case, I recently did a thing, which is considered as forbidden by my parents. I know its really difficult to do such things. But, at the end, you'll have that satisfaction of doing what you love. Taking risk is always a good way to learn something new but it comes along with breaking rules sometimes.
Recently I read a quote which goes like this:
“If it makes you happy, it doesn't have to make sense to anybody else”
Just think about it. What are we living for? Do you think you've a purpose in this life and you're supposed to fullfill it before your death? Like, serioulsy? Well, I think this is all nonsense. I mean, what matters is our happiness. Whatever we do, the end purpose will be our own happiness. Then why are you abandoning your happiness just to make it sense to others?
I know this is very hard to implement since we are bonded to a family, to friends and a whole soceity. So practically its impossible to give a shot to everything you want. The only thing you can do is, to start from the little things. I mean from the simplest ones. Getting that haircut you love, spending time with you friends, getting nose pierced, bunking a lecture, traveling alone and what not. You only have to take a step forward leaving all the complaints and rants of others behind. Then its your world. Your world of happiness.
We are all crazy inside and pretend to be sane outside. Why? Those insanity have a beauty of its own. You're a human and its okay to be insane. Actually its wonderful to be insane. Arferall, this is a crazy world we are living in. How long will you pretend? Find yourself by breaking the rules. Sounds great, right? Then why don't you start right now? Come out of the cage and give yourself a chance to be happy. Sometimes, you gotta go insane to stay insane. So stay weird and be happy.
