The love between two people is something divine that has to stay within those people at their best as well as worst. Being in a relationship and maintaining it for as long as possible without loosing the same enthusiasm you had at the beginning, is a hard thing to do. It takes courage, patience, consistency, trust and assurance to make it upto the end
This is the most important thing. Love can be messy sometimes. In a relationship you cannot always stay happy. On some days you love them more and on another days you don't even think about them. But in the end of the day, try to bring everything back to normal.
Trust them blindly and allow them to do whatever they want. If they are aware of the trust you have on them, they won't go overboard.
In a relationship, most people try to change their partner as they wish. The way they dress, the way they mingle with others, about their relations with other people and sometimes, even the way of their thinking. Being in a relationship does not give you the right to change an another personality. Love them for what they are.
This is one of the most important factor for longlasting relationships. Who would lile to be trapped in a cage? No one. So give them the freedom you think you need. Freedom to tell their decisions. Freedom to choose.
Even in a relationship, you two are different individuals living their own life. So respect their life and their decisions.
There might be some days when you feel low and didn't want to talk anyone. In such days, try to understand them. Afterall relationship is not an agreement. If they crave for some “ME TIME” , let them use it. Its their decision and you only have to respect it.
Being a back support can do wonders in one's life. Don't you think so? It'll be nice, right, if you have someone to support your dreams and to be there with you when you work for it. Imagine you are preparing for some exams at night, and he/she is by your side waiting for you to complete your studies inorder to sleep together. Nice, isn't it?
Before changing your partner, remember this. Would you like to change yourself for others? Will be be able to love something that you hate the most?
