"Words Hurt More Deeply Than Weapons" We have all heard this well known proverb.
After a rough day, nothing happened as per their planned schedule people often remove their frustration by shouting on people around. They might sometimes say harsh words, something which might hurt someone. While doing so they never know how deep those words have touched ones feelings, how the person might have felt.
Your Words Affects Feelings:- Words have power. Some words heals the pain, while some hurt. Some words are humble while some not. Words you speak might help the people around you.
People Remember What You Have Said:- People remember whatever you have told them. Whether to a small kid, or any elderly. If you have said something imperasive or affectionating, harsh or abusing words they remember it all. If someone is quite impolite with us we don't like. So how can we accept the same from others? Therefore, always think before you speak. Use words properly. It should not hurt anyone.
For example - If a teacher is always abusing the kid and not encouraging to do the work, he will not put his efforts for the same. He might think that there's a problem within him. Child might face depressed. There might be not much improvement in him. He might think he is lacking in something or the other. He might hesitate to talk to someone.
In case of kids if any of the words have hurt them in their chilhood, they remember it very well. Further in their life ahead those thoughts goes on continuously. Those words affect them very badly.
You Can Do It, Go For It, You Can Do Anything, are some of the easy phrases how you can motivate people. Your words “YOU DID A GREAT WORK” can appreciate them.
How You Deal With People Is Very Important:- No one is perfect, it doesn't mean to abuse someone or shout at them and tell what their mistake is. Instead, say politely where they are mistaken, give an alternate solutions to overcome their mistake, encourage them to do more work. By doing so one gets a clear idea about your behavior. It gives good thoughts about you. Remember, YOUR IMAGE IS IN YOUR HAND. SO DO NOT USE WORDS WHICH WILL HURT SOMEONE'S FEELINGS. Instead use encouraging words, and say politely.
Conclusion:- Always think before you speak. Be aware about the consequences of the words you have spoken, how it will affect the person. Because, WORDS HURT MORE DEEPLY THAN WEAPONS, And You Never Know HOW DEEP THAT WOUND IS.
