Ganpati Bappa, Moraya!! Mangal Murti, Moraya!!
With full excitement and joy, we welcomed GANESHA at our place. We enjoyed eating modaks, one of the favorite foods of Lord Ganesha.
Do you remember the first day of Ganesh Mahotsav? During and after the pooja of Ganpatiji, the whole house was pleased. There was a sacred atmosphere in entire house.
Meeting family members after ages and too during festival is actually a great fun🙌🏻🤩
But the excitement was not from day 1, before that instead!! Yes, you got that right, from buying Ganpati Murti, to decorations, to outfit of each day and lot more.
DECORATIONS🎀:-
We thought of keeping the decoration quite simple, decent, unique and at the same time. So here's something what we did at our place for Ganpati.
With a few old wooden garlands which then we painted it, artificial garlands, table cloth, lightings and plants.
1.Wooden Garlands:-We firstly separated each part of old wooden garlands and started painting the same. The green and cream coloured garlands were then painted into red and golden. The most difficult task was to let it dry😣 It took us around 3 days to cool. Well further Al Is Well!! And it happened the same. As soon as it dried, we made around 9 garlands🙌🏻✨
2.Artificial Garlands:- Artificial marigold flowers are the best in trend nowadays👍💯. It goes amazing literally any festival, family and cultural functions as well. It was very difficult to finalize the pattern which will look adorable.
3.Table Cloth:- As the background was in yellow and red, we thought of keeping the same color theme. It was so difficult to find the perfect cloth on top of the table. After a several tries, we found one the best which was completely perfect💯. It was an old multicolored saree with shades of yellow, orange, red and green in it which made the theme complete👌.
4.Lightings:- Warm yellow color lightings was the perfect for the decoration. Hanging from top a warm yellow colored bulb looked literally amazing🤩.
5)Plants:-I used coconut shell for planting the samplings.I planted two varities i.e methi (fenugreek) and wheat.
How Can We Forget GAURI?
Staying awake late night and preparing Gauri Mata is the best and enjoyable movement. Draping her a saree, wearing all the ornaments are the tasks we do before the day of GAURI POOJAN.
I still remember my childhood days when along with my parents and sisters during night, in Mumbai used to visit to take Ganpati Bappa's Darshan and return late at home. 🤩
We used to take darshan of around 7-8 mandal's Ganpati Bappa. The theme of every mandal used to vary from one another. The solar system theme and lot more.✨🌈
And then on day 5, it was a Ganpati Visarjan. When we realise there is no daily sweets anymore, no artis anymore, no prasad, no more guests😔
Ya artis, modak, puranpoli, snacks along with family members won't continue anymore. An entire atmosphere during Ganesh Mahotsav is simply delightful✨❤
But along with all these let us not forget, he has showered blessings on us. He took away all our worries, problems and thus blessed us✨😇😇
Hope so you all enjoyed these 10 days of Ganesha and enjoyed reading till here🌈😅
Let's say together 🌺Ganpati Bappa Moraya, Mangal Murti Moraya🌺
