Hey everyone! I am new to this platform and joined it because of one of my friends'referral. Hoping to get love and support from fellow bloggers. So here is my first blog.

Oatmeal is considered as healthy breakfast and recommended by health experts. Are oats as healthy as our experts claims? Here's what science say about having oatmeal regularly and it's health benefits.

Decreased risk of heart disease 

Oatmeal contains a good amount of fiber content. Because of this, it can help lower “bad” LDL cholesterol, stabilize blood sugar levels and even lower high blood pressure. This will minimise the risk of developing various cardiovascular diseases.

Feel fuller for longer periods 

Fiber, a carbohydrate which our body cannot digest and oats are great source of fiber. As fiber slows down the digestion, one won't feel as hungry for a longer period. Taking fiber-rich foods helps avoiding rise and low in your blood sugar levels.

Oatmeal feeds the good bacteria in your gut as it is a prebiotic food. Maintaining healthy gut microbiome will benefit immune systema and improves digestion.
