Pugs are playful, affectionate, charming, expressive, loyal companions, highly sensitive , sweet and people loving breed. if you're looking for a loving and easy going pal, this may be the breed for you !

Pugs can be stubborn and can't tolerate high heat and humidity because of a short muzzle. They shed a lot and wheeze, snort and snore, loudly. pugs need constant attention of human.

These cute little dogs have adorable rich history. lets go through it in this blog-

1. ONE OF THE ANCIENT BREED.  - It's found that this breed existed before 400 BCE and originated in china - which is still quite interesting. Tibetan or buddhist monks kept the pugs as pets.

2. THEY ARE ROYAL - China Emperors  used to kept them as lapdogs and treated them with all the luxuries of royal life. sometimes they were given their own mini palaces and guards.

3. BLESSED WITH TWO CURLS TAIL -Their tail is curve up towards their bodies.

4. THEY ARE GREAT COMPANION - Adaptable personality makes them a excellent pet. they are up for anything, whether you like to stay at home or enjoy the outdoors. they like to be right by your side.

5. DELIVERY DOG - Josephine Bonaparte, napoleon's wife, used her pug named Fortune that she loved  so much to deliver message to her family while she was imprisoned. she also refused to let her dog sleep anywhere but in her bed. the had been spread that whe his husband entered the room for the first time with his new wife, her pug bit her Napoleon husband in the leg 

6. POPULAR BREED OF EARLY 19th CENTURY -  Queen Elizabeth was the top British  dog fancier, her favorite was PUG. Because of her pug breed get popularized. she had many pugs, named olga, pedro, minka, fatima, and venus. she even banned the practice of cropping ears, so that pug owners could enjoy their pups' velvet ears.

7. TINY NOSE - Pugs noses are pushed in more than other dogs. Their tiny nose can lead to some breathing problems. they can't take long and deep breaths because of their facial structure.
