Hey people!! Do you love clouds and its pleasantness like I do. This blog is for you guys. I made this blog in such a way thet it looks very pleasing to the eye. Let's get started.
Smooth, lens-shaped & appear downwind of mountains. They are stationary clouds that form mostly in troposphere. They often appear as lens or saucer. It occurs when stable , moist air flows over a mountain, creating a series of oscillating waves.
It is formed when the stratosphere temperature is below a chilly -83 degree Celsius and turns moisture in the air into super-cooled liquid or ice crystals. Closest to ozone layer and they are found near the poles in extreme cold regions.
It looks as if when wind blows across the water surface, it manifests waves. This causes some winds to blow faster at the upper level than at the lower level. Clouds form a billowing wave pattern when there is a strong vertical shear between two streams.
Their appearance is associated with the aftermath of convective thunderstorms, but they tend to disappear without turning into storms themselves. Dark, Chaotic & Wave-like Clouds.
Dark, Destructive & rotate about a vertical axis. It is formed when warm, moist air is carried swiftly upwards by powerful convection currents. They are dangerous as they can lead to tornadoes.
Cold, Pouch-like protrusions hanging from the under sides of clouds. One of the theories is that these clouds are formed from sinking pockets of cold, moist air, because of negative buoyancy. It remains visible in your sky for minimum 10-15 minutes at a time.
Large-Gap, usually circular or elliptical appears in layers of mid-to-high-level clouds. Formed when part of the cloud layer forms ice-crystals that are large enough to fail as a โ fallstreakโ. Precipitation Cloud: Virga
Looks like a floating Jellyfish. Frequently precedes heavy rain. Formed when precipitation drops from a cloud and passes through a layer of dry air as it evaporates before reaching the Earth's surface. Common phenomenon: Rain showers with Virga, where the rain is produced from the clouds but it never reaches the ground as it evaporates.
That's it for today's blog. let's support each other and grow together fam:)
