Video Games are one among the most popular leisure activities in the world. As the generation pass by, almost every people started playing regardless of age. Especially this COVID-19 pandemic had made the younger ones more and more addicted towards it.
We all might have heard of PUBG Mobile Game. To my views, this game had caused too much negativity within the society and to be specific there is nothing called positive. I won’t be talking whether the death that took place few months or years ago true or not but let’s see the view of others of what they experienced or faced.
Although these games cuts down your stresses but it also has a major impact on health.
Here we will look through some of the common health issues while playing video games:
1. Headache
Headache occurs not only in presence of video games but also in general state when you’re used to mobile phones continuously for more than 2 hrs/day. Whenever you’re suffering from headache, you would probably lose the mindset of doing the necessary task of the day. All you would want to do is to take some rest and hence the day gets wasted.
2. Numbness in Hand/Finger
Either you play video games in Smartphone or in laptop, you’re generally putting some effort in controlling the game by hand. If you continue to do it for longer time, you might probably lose the sensation of your hand or it might become weak. Similarly, sitting at the same place for longer time also has some risk.
3. Bad Posture
We never notice ourselves closely when playing video games. It is only our parents who warn us regarding the posture. Most of us fail to keep a support for back during sitting position which causes muscle strain resulting in bad posture at later stage. Although the bad posture can be treated by regular exercise, we need to be cautious as it may get worse if left unchecked.
4. Excessive Thoughts
If the video games that you play involves in killing or shooting one another, you would only have the mindset of killing all the time. Once when you lose the game, it's because you didn't shoot or kill. So, such bad thoughts might deeply affect your sleep or even your carrier.
5. You will end Fed up
When you fail to complete a certain tasks from the game, it would probably make you fed up throughout the day. So, those games which have high challenging tasks must be avoided.
6. Fever Issues
Few you-tubers think PUBG Game as their passion and they just ignore their sleep sitting whole night in the game. I don’t understand why they spend whole night uselessly in the game. Few you-tubers reported that they had fever issues as a result spending their whole day in the game. For some people, fever may also end with death if left untreated. For few people live stream of the game-play and income from it might sound easy but they never think their upcoming generation might also be spoiled.
Conclusion:
Video games cannot be entirely avoided as they are necessary to provide relief from stresses but make sure that everything is within the limit. When you exceed the limit, you need to face the consequences.
