Let's begin :

People have different views about the influence of music on individuals and societies. As music is considered to be one of the most popular and ancient modes of human expression.  While some people think that it put negative impact on individuals as well as societies I, however, believe that music plays a vital role in people's life for different purposes such as motivation, festivals, celebrations and expressing our inner joys.

Basically, there are numerous reasons that can be regarded as music is  responsible for negative impacts. One of the prominent causes' is that it can be easily observed, in number of songs harsh and abusing words are used which can hurt the sentiments of the society or perhaps directly or indirectly disrespects the reason or culture of the society. Moreover, these also imparts in spreading wrong messages to individuals. To illustrate, nowadays, youth tends to follow their favourite artists as a result, they may opt such messages which makes them to go on wrong path. For instance,  a survey was conducted in which it was concluded that most of the youngsters have weapon license and many are also indulged themselves in drugs.

However, I would argue that advantages have more influence on society and individuals rather than drawbacks. Firstly, it helps to preserve our culture and tradition that consequently, unite people of different age groups. Artists involve customs and rituals in their lyrics such as Gurdas Man, a famous punjabi singer highlights culture of punjab in his songs. Apart from this, it is source of entertainment and acts as stress buster in fast paced life of people. Listening to music also inspire individuals to create their own music and represent it. As a consequence, they  can explore their hidden talent as well as pursue it as their career. It can become way of  earning for them.

In conclusion, no doubt there are several negative outcomes of following this trend, while in my perspective, it brings more benefits.
