1. HANGING GARDEN OF BABYLON
Even though there are currently Babylonian ruins in the Iraqi city of Al-Hillah, the presence of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon is still a mystery. The Hanging Gardens, which did not actually hang, are thought to have been constructed by King Nebuchadnezzar for his wife Amytis sometime around 600 BC.

4. CHRIST THE REDEEMER, BRAZIL
On the summit of Mount Corcovado, the totemic statue of Christ the Redeemer watches over Rio de Janeiro. This monument, which stands 30 metres tall, is a well-known symbol of Brazil. Paul Landowski, a Polish-French sculptor, created this enormous public work of art in the 1920s, and Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa and French engineer Albert Caquot finished it in 1931.

Petra is a Greek name meaning Rock. Established in 312 BC, Petra is one of the world's oldest cities that flaunts every bit of rich heritage. Once the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom, this ancient city in Jordan is dotted with more than 1000 tombs. 6. MACHU PICCHU , PERU
Machu Picchu is a remarkable citadel that was found high in the Andes mountains above the Peruvian Sacred Valley. It is a lost treasure from the 15th century. Surprisingly, it is one of the few pre-Columbian ruins that has been found almost entirely intact, with remains of residences, agricultural terraces, plazas, and temples.
7. CHICHEN ITZA, MEXICO
Chichen Itza, a famous Mayan metropolis constructed between the ninth and the twelfth centuries, is located deep within the Mexican state of Yucatán. The city, which was built by the pre-Columbian Mayan tribe Itzá, has a number of monuments and temples.
