Hi guys. . . I am again with my another blog in this day. Hope you are all good with your family members. Today I am going to share you about some multiplication tricks in mathematics which helps to solve an aptitude questions quickly without using calculators. Lets start the blog . .
In this blogs we can see three methods,
1.BASE TEN METHODS
If the given number is closest 10 - 100 means we can use this method. For example, [12x12] is a two digit multiplication and Lets see how to solve this one,
For instant,
STEP 1: Write the given number in a column wise 13 17
STEP 2: Subtract the each number by 10 because this is base 10 method so we can subtract it by 10. 13 - 10 = 3 17- 10 = 7 --→ First Equation
Write this problem as, 13 = 3 17 = 7 --→Second Equation
STEP 3: Cross addition the both number. By add this the both get the same value. 13 + 7 = 20 17 + 3 = 20
Both the values are same so, we can re - write this as, 20/ ? -→Third Equation
STEP 4: We wants to find the value of that question mark (?). For that we can multiply the right side values of second equation. That means, Second Equation is 13 = 3 17 = 7 Here multiply 3 and 7, we can get the answer as 21 . Apply the answer in place of question mark in third equation.
STEP 5: Now we can get the values as 20 / 21. Remove the slash symbol. it has two digits so it is written as 221
2.BASE HUNDRED METHOD
The given number is closest to 100 - 1000. After the slash we need two digits only if it is three or more than than add to previous values.
For instant,
3.BASE THOUSAND METHOD
Same has the above two functions. In this we can get three digits after the slash support it has two digits we can add zero at the before of that two digits. We get four digits after the slash we add the first to the previous number as we follows in the above functions.
For Instant,
In this 9 x 8 = 72 but we want three digits after that slash so we put zero over there and combine it has 1017072.
