Today, I am going to share some tasty food recipes that you must try at your home during this lockdown.
1.vegetable cone
Ingredients for making cone:
All purpose flour/Maida-2cups
Wheat flour-1cup
Oil-2spoons
Malai/cream- 2 table spoons
Salt as per taste
Materials for filling:
Paneer-100 g
Boiled potato-2
Cornflour-2tablespoons
Ginger and green chilli paste-2 tea spoons
Garam masala-1tea spoon
Sugar-½ tea spoon
Lemon -1
Procedure:
Take all the ingredients required for making cone in a bowl and knead it properly. Then make a thin roti out of the dough and cut the roti into half. Make a cone shape out of it.
Grind all the ingredients required for making filling. Then pack the cones with fillings.
Fry the cones in oil and serve them with green chutney.
2.veg kabab
Ingredients:
Overnight soaked Chickpeas-1cup
Ginger paste-1spoon
Green chilli-4
Garlic-5cloves
Cabbage-half cup
Grated carrot-half cup
Chopped onion-half cup
Coriander powder-1teaspoon
Cumin-1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves-1 handful
Salt as per taste
Procedure:
Take chickpea, green chilli, ginger, clove in a mixer jar and grind them. Then add rest of the ingredients into the ground batter and make kabab shape rolls by hand. Fry the kabad in oil until golden brown colour appears.
3. Green Pea paratha
Ingredients:
All purpose flour-500g
Wheat flour-2cups
Ghee/clarified butter-100g
Green pea-200g
Garam masala-1 tea spoon
Black pepper powder-½ teaspoon
Ginger and green chilli paste-2teaspoon
Lemon -1
Salt as per taste
Procedure:
Take maida/all purpose flour, wheat flour, ghee and salt in a bowl and knead it to make a dough. Boil the green peas and then grind them along with other spices. Then take a dough ball and put some pea mixture inside it. Then roll it like a paratha shape. Then put some ghee on the pan and make paratha.
4. Curd rice
Ingredients:
Rice -1cup
Curd-1cup
Chopped onion-1
Oil-1tablespoon
Curry leaves-10-12
Dried red chilli-3-4
Mustard Seed- 1teaspoon
Chilli powder-½ tea spoon
Salt-½ teaspoon
Procedure:
Cook the rice. Add curd in the rice. Then add salt in it. Take a pan and heat the oil. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dried red chilli, onion, red chilli powder into the pan and fry them. Then put them on the rice.
5. Healthy pea chat
Ingredients:
Green pea- 3cups
Oil
Onion-2
Tomato-2
Green chilli-2
Chat masala-½ teaspoon
Cumin powder-½ teaspoon
Paneer-1 cup
Procedure:
Heat oil in a pan. Then put chopped onions in it. Then put chopped tomatoes to it. Then add all the green peas and spices. Cook them 8-10 minutes on a medium flame. Then add paneer pieces into it and stir for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the gas and serve chat with chutney. You can add some sev on it as per your taste.
