Thirumal takes human form to destroy Ravana. Thirumal is born as Rama to Dasharathan-Kosala couple. Dasaratha and Kaikeyi and Sumithirai gave birth to Lakshyavan, Bharatha and Shatrugan. They are growing up in Dasaratha's palace.
Vishwamitra takes Rama and Lakshavan as guards to his yaga. Rama kills the demon Thadagai who came to destroy the sacrifice of Vishwamitra. Rama and Lakshya vanquish the demons who came to destroy the sacrifice like Tadakai.
Vishwamitra takes Rama and Lakshavan to Mithila. On the way, Akalikai, who was a stone, is brought back to life by the dust of Rama's feet. They take her with Sage Gautama and go to Mithila. Sita's Swayamvara takes place there. Rama participates in it and breaks Shiva's spell and marries Sita.
Rama marries Sita and goes to Ayodhya. Accompanied by Lakshavan and Visvamitra. Dasaratha, the king of Ayodhya, makes arrangements to baptize Rama. People and ministers are happy knowing that. A Kuni named Mandara goes to Kaike, Bharata's mother and changes her mind. Kaikeyi asks for the two boons given earlier by Dasaratha, Rama Katala and Bharata Natala, according to the current situation.
As Rama and Sita go to the forest, Lakshavan also goes along. The three go to the forest and meet sages and Gugan. Raman proudly claims that Gugan is his other brother. As Dasaratha dies, Bharata meets Rama in the forest after performing the last rites. He persuades Rama to accept the kingdom of Ayodhya. But Rama refuses to accept it. Bharata runs the government under Rama's protection until Rama returns and takes charge.
Rama meets Virathan, Sarabangan, Agathiyar and Sadayu in the forest. Through them he learns about monsters and weapons.
Ravana's younger sister Surpanaga falls in love with Rama. But Rama does not accept other women as Ekapathini Vrathan. Lakshavan tears off Surpanagai's nose. So she goes to Ravana and tells him about Rama's wife Sita and her beauty and makes him fall in love with her.
Ravana sends Mayaman to separate Rama and Lakshavan from Sita and lures Sita away. On the way Saayu falls fighting to rescue Sita. Sadayu survives after telling the brothers about Ravana who are looking for Sita at home.
Rama and Lakshavan, who are searching for Sita, arrive at Kidkind. Rama meets Hanuman there. Hanuman introduces Sukrivan to Rama. Sukrivan's wife is seduced by Sukrivan's brother Vali. So Rama kills Vali and rescues Sukrivan's wife.
Sugriva and his subjects Vanaras come to help Rama, knowing that Rama is also suffering from the loss of his wife.
All go under the leadership of Angadhan. On the way they meet Sadayu's brother named Sampathi. Sampathi informs that Sita is imprisoned in Sri Lanka. They decide that Hanuman is the right person to go to Sri Lanka and inform Hanuman. Convincing Hanuman of his pride, he takes the form of Vishwaram to go to Sri Lanka.
Hanuman flies in the sky to go to Sri Lanka. Rama conquers the obstacles on the way and reaches Sri Lanka. There he sees Sita in Ashokavana and tells her that he is the messenger of Rama and gives her the ring which is the symbol of Rama. Sita also takes the ring and gives it to the Choolamani.
Hanuman meets Ravana and praises Rama and asks him to marry Sita to Rama. But Ravana sets fire to Hanuman's tail. Hanuman burns Sri Lanka and goes to Rama and tells him that he saw Sita.
Rama builds a bridge to Sri Lanka and goes with the vanara army and fights with Ravana. Then Ravana's brother Veedana joins Rama. Kumbakaruna, Rama's brother Ravana, and his son Indrasittu fight and kill everyone. He finally kills Ravana and gives Sri Lanka to Veedana, rescues Sita and goes to Ayodhya. Rama's baptism was held in Ayodhya.
