Hello guys, this is the last and final part of this story. Hope you guys like it😊

I stopped breathing when I saw what it was- a letter from my friend. At the age of ten, I had found my Dad's letter and now Raunak's. Two things were common in them. They weren't letters, they were suicide notes. While my father's letter filled me with rage, my friend's letter filled me with regret.

Runak had somehow managed to know my evil side. He must've read my dairy that day. He wanted me to be happy, even if it could only be brought by his sacrifice. But now all I could feel is guilt. He intentionally asked for my help. He wanted his father to feel bad for what he did. I read and reread that letter ten times.

The last lines of his letter mentioned, β€œI know, I'll be gone by the time you read this. You are the best at what you do and if you've decided to do this then you'll definitely succeed. I know you're smart but this time, I oversmarted you my friend." I could feel hair behind my neck rising and a chill ran down my spine. The point in our conversation where I felt we were on the same page, we were actually talking about same thing. I could recall everything- my secret been spilled out, and near the door when he winked. He put himself in death's path.

I fall to my knees, howling. My friend's gone.

My dad was right this place isn't for good people. This is hell. Good people like my dad and friend are there in heaven. My dad's murderer and I are here.  β€œI am sorry Papa. I am not like you. I am just like your murderer. Dad my mind couldn't think of anything other than revenge. But no I am not that bad.” I sobbed through my words. β€œ Tomorrow I will surrender myself. P..please take care of my friend.”

It felt as if my dad too was crying on my fate, of what I've made myself into. A raindrop fell over the window pane. I decided to give a final look to the skies before whispering. β€œ I'll miss you Dad.”

And here, I end this story. So this what revenge and rage does to a person. It takes away all senses and when those senses are back, everything is destroyed. The person blinded with rage is doomed.

Let me know, What do you think of this story😊😊
