Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. This is another part of the winter series. In this blog, I am going to share some tips to keep your skin healthy and glowing in winters. During this season, the skin becomes dry and dull so it becomes necessary to pay special attention to the skin. But we become lazy to do something for our skin care so here are some easy home remedies for your skin-
Apple- βAn apple a day keeps the doctor awayβ we have heard this several times. Do you know apple is beneficial for our skin as well? It helps in maintaining the level of natural oil of the skin so it is very beneficial for the people who have oily skin. Cut the apple and press it to make a mashed paste. Now apply a thin layer of this on the face and keep it for 15 minutes. Then wash it with lukewarm water.
Tomato- Tomatoes helps in keeping the skin soft. It reduces the blemishes as well. Take tomato juice, lemon juice and glycerine in equal quantity and mix them well. Wash your face and massage it using this mixture. Wash it after about half an hour with lukewarm water.
Banana- It helps in skin tightening and reduces wrinkles. Mash a banana, apply it on the face and wash your face after half an hour.
Honey- Honey is really helpful in removing the wrinkles. It makes the dry skin soft and glowing.
How to use- Apply a thin layer of honey on the face and keep it for 20 minutes. After that dip cotton in water and clean your face. If your skin is oily then you can mix 4-5 drops of lemon juice in honey.
Neem- It is useful in treating acne. Mix neem powder and earthen pot (multani mitti) and make paste to apply in the skin. When it gets dry, wash face with lukewarm water. To Know the benefits of neem for skin please check .
Cucumber- Take out some cucumber juice and apply it on skin. After twenty minutes, wash your face with cold water.
Boil some cucumber pieces in milk and grind it. Use this mask on your face as it helps in skin tightening.
