Hello dear readers, welcome to the next part of the winter special series. It is probably the last part of this series as winter has almost gone. Most of the people think that skin tanning occurs only in the summer season but this is not true, tanning occurs in winters as well because in comparison to summers we sit in the sunshine more during winter. Though the winter sunshine is not too much but due to sitting for a long time, the exposed body parts such as legs, hands and face get tanned. Now the season is changing so it is the right time to get a glowing skin. For this purpose, I am sharing some remedies which can be done easily at home with all the available ingredients.

  • Curd, turmeric and lemon- Take two tablespoons of curd, two drops of lemon juice and near about two pinch of turmeric powder, mix them well. Apply it to the affected tanned skin and keep it for ten to fifteen minutes. After that wash it with water. Use it twice a week and the tanning will be removed.
  • Tomato and papaya- You can use it before you go to sit in the sunshine. Mix the pulp of tomato, papaya and add glycerine in it. Apply it on your skin. Using this paste will not let your skin getting tanned and besides it will help in protecting the skin from harmful rays.
  • Milk cream and glycerine- During winter season, dryness of the skin is also a major problem so i is important to maintain the moisture of the skin. For this, you can use milk cream (malai) and glycerine. Apply it on the face, it will make you skin glowing and will also reduce the dryness.
  • Use a moisturizer which contains aloevera as it helps in maintaining the pH level of the skin.
  • Make sure to use the sunscreen lotion (25 SPF) before going out in the sun.

Note- Home remedies are chemical free so they take some time to show the result and before using them make sure to do a patch test. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients used in the preparation of paste, do not use it.
