Hey there, I hope you all are doing great and enjoying this lovely winter season. Each season demands some special things to protect ourselves against diseases. From enjoying cold beverages in summer to eating something hot in winters…. whatever we eat has a direct impact on our health so I am sharing some foods that should be consumed during this season to immune yourself. The food that we consume in winters should give warmness to the body.

Gooseberry- A regular use of gooseberries makes our body healthy and skin glowing. It is also beneficial for a good eyesight and for hair. It boosts our immunity and keeps the balance of blood sugar and lipids in the body. Drink juice of a fresh gooseberry daily or you can consume it in the form of candy or murabba.

Gooseberries

You can cut the gooseberry and take out its pieces, add black salt and ginger powder as well. Keep it in open so that it dries and then consume five to six pieces daily.

Dates-

Dates are full of magnesium, iron, vitamine and calcium. It should be included in the diet during winters to keep the body warm.

It helps in maintaining the energy level of the body. Besides, it keeps the heart healthy, improves digestion and helps in reducing joint pain.

Dates can help in cutting off your sugar intake if you add dates in your dry fruit laddu instead of sugar.

Dates

Cinnamon-

Since ages, cinnamon has been used as a natural immunity booster and for the cure for type 2 diabetes.

Cinnamon contains MCHP which works just like the hormone insulin, it controls the sugar level of the blood.

Cinnamon helps in maintaining the cholesterol level and blood pressure also so try to include some amount of cinnamon in your food.

Drumstick tree (Moringa oleifera)

Moringa oleifera

The seeds and leaves of moringa are full of antioxidants, amino acid, vitamins and minerals. The leaves contain protein which provides the nine essential amino acids to the body and olic acid is present in the leaves. It helps in increasing the immunity of the body.

Thank you for reading this blog and do not forget to share your feedback in the comment section below and yes I am thinking to write such more articles (like a winter special series) so share your opinion on this as well.

Stay safe, healthy and happy.
